How to solve the looping issue when logging into webmail.nckcn.com

NCKCN is aware of this loading looping issue that occurs when logging into webmail.nckcn.com.  As of late, certain browsers have updated the way it handles http responses as well as AJAX requests.  Due to this update, anyone who tries to log into webmail.nckcn.com will encounter a strange looping issue now.

Browsers that cause this looping issue are as follow:

  • Google Chrome
  • Edge
  • Safari
  • Opera

With that said, there are (2) alternatives (or temporary fixes) you can take to continue using webmail.nckcn.com while we investigate the issue further and find a permanent solution.

Alternative (Temporary) Fixes:

  1. Switch to a different browser such as: Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox — These (2) browsers have not changed the way they handle http responses nor AJAX requests (as of yet).  If using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, simply go to: webmail.nckcn.com and log in as usual.
  2. Continue using the browser that caused this looping issue.  However, you will need to clear your browser history.  If you are unsure on how to clear your browser history, please read our online guide HERE.  Once you have cleared your browser history, you can then refresh webmail.nckcn.com.
    1. Once the form to sign in re-appears, locate near the bottom of the form the sentence: Switch to “Standard Interface”.  If you click on the “Standard Interface” link, the form will change.  Once changed, you then can login as usual and the looping issue is no longer present.  Using the Standard Interface will look different but at least you can login as usual to check and send email.
